The home-baked bread at breakfast was an absolute delight, a blissful start to the day! Plus, the spacious bedroom with a kitchenette let us whip up a quick snack after some delightful dining adventures at nearby gems like Taverna Sapori Greci and Tapas Barcelona.
A heads-up, the steep walk down from the bus stop can knock the wind out of you.

missingWrote a review on Nov 25tiny lift
Check-in only until 10 PM was a hassle, requiring a call to enter the building, which felt a bit off. The lift is the tiniest I've ever encountered—it's more like a phone booth, only accepting one person or very small luggage. I thought I'd booked a room in the main building, but ended up in a decidedly lesser-quality dependency far enough away, leaving me feeling somewhat misled. The advertised daily housekeeping lacks clarity, as sheets and towels aren't replaced daily unless specifically requested for an extra fee.

Superb location, well-sized room, good-sized bathroom
A safe deposit box would be incredibly useful!!! The wifi situation is atrocious with only one reliable network!!! Additionally, don't forget the steep flight of steps just to reach the entrance!!!

Comfort and charm in Trieste
The room was not only renovated but also incredibly cozy, offering a serene retreat after bustling city days. Staff members greeted us like old friends, enhancing the warm atmosphere. Plus, it’s ideally situated near the charming Maria Maggiore church and other sights.
However, don’t forget to pack some stamina for the steep walks! Though they add to the character of the location, they can be quite the workout, especially with luggage in tow. The breakfast was a tad lacking in variety, mainly offering just pastries and limited coffee options.

The honest truth about this
The hotel is ideally situated just a short walk from the main square, making exploration effortless. Staff members are welcoming, offering helpful guidance and restaurant recommendations to enhance your stay.
Be prepared for a challenging uphill walk from the square, especially with luggage. The limited breakfast options may not suit every palate.

I stayed in the Economy Double or Twin Room for 3 nights and it was great! The bed was comfy, and the room had a nice sofa. Bathroom was well-equipped with nice toiletries. Just a heads-up, the lift is super tiny—really can only fit a couple people at a time with luggage. But the location is perfect, close to bars and restaurants. Plus, you can leave your luggage after checkout.

Amazing hotel with a kind and caring staff who truly go above and beyond to ensure a delightful stay! The room was clean and charming. The breakfast was very simple but a good value for money, with freshly made goodies that set the tone for the day. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the main square and dining spots.
Steep walk to hotel.

I had a lovely stay, starting with a warm welcome that included a small bottle of champagne! After a long day of exploring, I truly appreciated the cozy room and the peaceful atmosphere where I could unwind with a nice book. The only downside was the basic breakfast, which could use a bit more variety. 😊
